Wonder Woman won’t do any more movies if this accused sexual harasser is included!

In this day of nearly everyone abandoning principle for the sake of political and financial convenience, it’s nice to see an actress who actually has some.

Of course it’s Wonder Woman, watch below:

More from Allure:

According to Jezebel, Gadot has announced she will not move forward on Wonder Woman 2 unless the co-financing deal between Warner Brothers and RatPac Entertainment, Brett Ratner’s company, is cancelled. Gadot is drawing this line in the sand after Ratner has been accused of sexual assault and harassment by multiple women, along with other questionable behavior (including outing Ellen Page).

Dang. That’s pretty cool huh.

In a statement reported by Deadline, Ratner said, “In light of the allegations being made, I am choosing to personally step away from all Warner Bros.- related activities. I don’t want to have any possible negative impact to the studio until these personal issues are resolved.” However, it’s unclear exactly what this means for deals that are already in place, and it’s also unclear whether his company will still be involved with Warner Bros. projects.

Of course the relative goodness or bad-assness of what she did really depends on whether the accusations against Rattner are real. The way he reacted, it sounds like they might be.

Anyway, have a principled open thread, party people. Live it up, it’s been a bad day.
