There’s sorts of people opining about the possibility of a “brokered convention” in Cleveland this election cycle, and Trump is going to order his goons to start riots if it happens, but it strikes me that very few really know what it even means.
So here’s CNN to explain just what a “brokered convention” is:
This just doesn’t sound terribly controversial. If Donald Trump doesn’t get the required number of delegates, then he doesn’t get the nomination. Simple as that. The nomination isn’t being “stolen” if the GOP is simply following the rules that have been in place for decades.
So don’t let any whiny idiot tell you that a brokered convention means the voice of the people is being ignored.
