Former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton blasted Obama’s “pitifully inadequate” sanctions announced today on Russia, mocking that Russian operatives wouldn’t be heart-broken if they couldn’t “shop on Fifth Avenue.”

But while he mocked Obama, it’s because he think that the Russian interference into our election was a serious act and they should be slapped down for it. We’re definitely not going to see any action from Putin’s BFF Trump over this – he’s denied the hacking and interference over and over, and just recently said the country just needs to move on.
It’s also important to note that Bolton is VERY much against Russian influence in the Middle East, calling it the highest priority to limit and rid the region of their meddling:

That’s very much against what Putin-lover Trump’s plan seems to be for Syria – at one point he suggested “outsourcing” Syria to Putin. Maybe that’s why Bolton’s masculine mustache was denied the job of Secretary of State.
