Jeb Bush just took what we thought of as desperate to a whole new level by releasing a new ad with his own mother singing his praises:
If you are trying to convince people that you’re the one they should vote for, you want to at least make it seem as though the people singing your praises came to that decision logically and honestly.
But your mom? C’mon, what mother wouldn’t sing the praises of their child running for office?
I just don’t see how this can help him. To me it makes him look really desperate. And lame.
