Candy Crowley really pressed John Kerry to answer whether the United States was comfortable with the measure of Israel’s response to Hamas attacking them from Gaza, but she probably didn’t like the response. After explaining Israel’s right to defend herself, Kerry explained (slowly for her) how Hamas puts their civilians, including children, in harm’s way to cause more casualties and elicit exactly the kind of questions she’s asking.
