Trump literally turned to Netanyahu today at their presser and asked him to hold off on settlements in the name of achieving peace with the Palestinians:

Wow. I really don’t like this idea that Trump is telling Bibi to hold off on settlements because we know that Palestinians really do not want peace.
If Trump were going to keep making this an issue, I’d rather hear him say something like this: “I’ll talk to Bibi about settlements when the Palestinians publicly recognize the State of Israel and stop fomenting hate and terrorism against Jews in the region.”
