WSJ says U.S. spies are HIDING intelligence from Trump out of FEAR of leaks!

OK, so now we’re heading towards crisis time. According to the Wall Street Journal, some U.S. intelligence members are keeping information from President Trump out of fear it’ll be compromised or leaked.

From the WSJ:

U.S. intelligence officials have withheld sensitive intelligence from President Donald Trump because they are concerned it could be leaked or compromised, according to current and former officials familiar with the matter.

Well, we’ve come a long way from Trump going to the CIA and telling a hootin’ hollerin’ crowd that he’s one hundred percent behind them, haven’t we?

In some of these cases of withheld information, officials have decided not to show Mr. Trump the sources and methods that the intelligence agencies use to collect information, the current and former officials said. Those sources and methods could include, for instance, the means that an agency uses to spy on a foreign government.

The White House had this to say about the report, “There is nothing that leads us to believe that this is an accurate account of what is actually happening.”

But then again, if the intel was being withheld from them, they wouldn’t know about it, right?

Mostly unmentioned in all of this is how Trump derided and mocked the U.S. intelligence agencies by holding up the failure to find WMDs in Iraq to crowds over and over again during the campaign. Do you think they might have maybe held a grudge over that?
