By The Right Scoop

This is truly a great clip. Perry is asked to comment on accusations about his campaign made by an anonymous source supposedly within his campaign, and he flat refuses telling the reporter to give him a name or he won’t comment (h/t: Fox Nation):

Finally, someone puts Politico in their place over this whole anonymous source game they like to play. I love it.

Also, this is exactly the side of Perry everyone has been waiting to see. We want a candidate who shows confidence and authority, and Perry does that very well here. He should stay in this mindset when giving speeches and interviews on the campaign trail and much more of the electorate will support him. I guarantee it.

        Sorta like…”Obama’s a muslim!”

        • Anonymous

Obama has three Muslim names, but is not a Muslim. So quit casting aspersions. Just because he has three Muslim names does not necessarily make him a Muslim. Just because he says America is not a Christian nation, doesn’t make him a Muslim. Why are you here bringing up this sore point?

        • Anonymous

No not at all like that. Start here: His father and his step-father were both muslim. His mother had to convert to islam to marry both of them. Under sharia law just those two things alone make him a muslim even if he doesn’t accept it.

And then there is the interview where he makes the freudian-slip (accidentally telling the truth while lying) and claims to have “muslim-faith” not once but twice.

If that’s not enough read his two books.

And if you need more proof, compare his most recent Christmas message with his ramadan message.

You know what the difference is Bob? All of this comes straight from Obama’s own mouth and writing. Not one word of it was ever made up by anyone else. There may be other claims out there, but these things are all 100% true and completely verifiable. That’s why polls show that more than 75% of the people believe he’s a muslim.

That’s not the same thing as attributing information to an “unnamed source”. In this case the source for all of the evidence is Obama himself.

Baloney; as soon as any Tea Party member stops acting like a lemming and performs due diligence, they get a clue. I’ve live on a ranch for 40+ years in Texas and never took a penny from government at any level, and never will. You obviously don’t live in Texas, nor have you read Governor Perry’s book, ‘Fed Up!’ — which is better than any book ever written by Ron Paul.

After seeing so many Paulestinian lies about him, I spent months performing due diligence on Governor Perry — and he comes up looking like the ONLY manwho can beat Hussein Obeyme. Here is my assessment of the field:

I read the politico piece, and it completely makes sense, as to why the Perry campaign had struggled in the beginning but also has improved and turning his campaign around as of late. “Campaign aides describe a behind-the-scenes power struggle that played out this fall” http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1211/70976.html

Now He has new handlers on his campaign, obvious proof the way he responds to the politico piece, who knows how his old handlers (who use to work for Newt) might have allowed him stick his foot in his mouth again. I think it was obvious his old handlers did not have Perry prepared and the experience to run a Presidential campaign.

and btw, even Foxnews plays the anonymous source game.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/David-Zuniga/1389494145 David Zuniga

Steven, you’re missig the point. While it may very well be technically true, nobody is interested in staff infighting — except those who are trying to tak a candidate down. Anyone who has read “Fed Up!”, Governor Perry’s latest book, knows that this fellow could be the next Andrew Jackson; ONLY Rick Perry has taken it to both the blue-haired tyrant senior citizens and to the crime cartel that uses the felicitous but fraudulent brand ‘Federal’ Reserve.

Petty political bickering turns people off, as well it should. This republic faces incredible domestic enemies; if we don’t take them on NOW and stay on them until we beat them, they will have finished us as a constitutional republic.

In this monograph, I explain how long this onslaught has continued; it’s all about the money. Always has been:

      http://thisbloodlesslibertythebook.blogspot.com/2011/12/christmas-story.html

Only Rick Perry gets it. Read ‘Fed Up!’ and compare it to any of Ron Paul’s books — and especially his ACTIONS over the past 30+ years in Congress.

Like Gingrich, Ron Paul is all politician’s talk and dirty politics; no action.

Winghunter provides three hyperlinks that merit assessment; after rejection, support for Perry must be enhanced.

#1 is composed by Tom Tancredo, who lost re-election due to his extreme lingo; he apparently hasn’t learned his lesson.

#2 is a panoply of half-stories, composed on a website that doesn’t permit critique.

#3 has a hyperlink that doesn’t work, although Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller have published numerous pieces on Perry’s alleged ties to Islamists…based on his having coutenanced a broad education program ~2005.

    *

Regarding #1, Rick doesn’t stand for open-borders; he has worked to shut them [best he can] and he has pledged to do so within a year of election as POTUS. Furthermore, he cites glitches in the E-verify system confirmed by the WSJ. Thus, anyone who unabashedly portrays him as having policies comparable to those of BHO is purposefully misleading the reader…and isn’t worhty of comment.

Regarding #2, again, citing what is known allows for the challenge of the credibility of the author. No one got Gardisil, and he admitted executive error [based on desire to decrease inciddence of cervical cancer]. Notiwthstanding Bachmann’s attacks regarding mental retardation, there is no justification for allowing this to persist as reflecting a pattern of over-reach. He is impugned if his cites his Texas achievements [e.g., jobs] and he is impugned when he doesn’t cite his Texas achivements [e.g., in-state tuition]. Regarding the former, more than half the jobs created in America in 2010 were in Texas, a worthwhile achievement [even if some weren’t @ the executive level]; regarding the latter, this was hardly a magnet over the jobs/economy pressures for Illegals to relocate northward, and this type of program was welcomed by Texans who prefer not to be forced to support Illegals who seeks Medicaid, welfare, free-education, etc.

Regarding #3, this program is remote, inactive, and contradictory to well-documented support for Israel, the military, and anti-Iran efforts.

    *

Therefore, it would be desirable if clarity were to triumph over obfuscation!

  • Anonymous

Having disposed of Winghunter, the key-point that emerges is that Perry will remain interactive with the MSM/LSM/ELM [Establishment-Leaning Media] while attempting to elevate its performance by discounting its efforts to entrap.

Hmmm, I think I finally see why Perry isn’t doing as well as he should. As a person who has some experience with the stage, IMO Perry suffers from stage-fright.

He handled this reporter very well and yet I can sense that he’s jittery as he gives his response. This hurts him because the public will misinterpret this as weakness. It will also cause him to screw up. Which then makes him nervous, which causes the stage-fright to get worse, which causes an even worses screw-up etc.

I believe he’s already been a victim of this effect. And it’s hurting his campaign.

There is only thing besides a dose of beta-blocker that will help stage-fright. He has to get angry. And it has to be genuine, he needs to reach into his own mind and find something that genuinely p!sses him off and keep it in mind as he delivers his answers…but he has to master the nuance of being able to make people interpret that anger as strength. That’s not very easy to do and it takes years of practice to master. The end result: he has to be “comfortable in his own skin”. Mitt Romney is comfortable in his own skin, and that’s probably why at the end of the day Romney ends up on top.

Perhaps before going out to face the public Perry should spend some time every day meditating on what Obama is doing to this country. That should do it.

    • Anonymous

I don’t doubt that he suffered from nerves during the debates, but I don’t see it here. I thought he looked strong.

      • Anonymous

You’re right he does. But if you watch the part where he goes into the explanation at the end. You can hear his voice beginning to rise in pitch, and he tamps it down. Then he get’s jittery. I think he’s working on it, but it could explain his rather poor performance in the debates.

That name would probably be Karl Rove – the maestro of dirty tricks and smears and whisper campaigns — to use more polite language. Interestingly enough, Rove recruited Perry to switch from a Dem to a Republican years ago. And though I don’t think Perry is an absolute angel, I think he has more of a moral core than Rove does. Rove enjoys the disinformation campaigns. For more info – watch the documentary on Current TV about Bush’s Brain. (Yes, I know how they lean — but watch and see if some of the facts seem to tell the full story about Rove and how he works against his political opponents — most of whom have been Republicans he’s campaigned against as he brought his candidates to the top).

That was SWEET!! I liked seeing him shut down that idiot. It felt good to watch. I hope he continues with demanding substance from reporters accusations.

This needs to be the approach of every Republican or conservative candidate to the liberal extremist loaded spin type interviews. However, I suspect that the liberal extremist media will just find a way to spin this to say that Perry declined and / or evaded a media query.

Right ON, Governor Perry! We not only have to get rid of BO and this administration we also need to FIRE the mainstream media! They are like school children at recess! There is no factual reporting anymore, only gossip . . . most of it made up! The media took a good man, Mr. Cain, down with these kind half truths and flat out lies! I recall Clinton remained President after using the oval office as his sex pad, he should have been impeached. The media is killing our country one fictitious story at a time! More individuals must stand up against them just as Perry did. The Politico snake in the grass (he cannot be called a true reporter) couldn’t even find the words to answer back because it was all lies, it was FUN to watch him squirm . . . BRAVO, GOVERNOR PERRY!

He couldn’t even find the words to answer back because there was no source. Quite FUN to watch Mike Allen squirm . . . BRAVO, GOVERNOR PERRY!
