Earlier this week we reported how one of Trump’s advisors, Roger Stone, got into it with Geraldo Rivera about comments he made calling Ana Navarro and Roland Martin “quote hires.”

Trump acknowledged that Stone may offer a different take on how this all went down. But he wanted to be clear: Stone is gone from Team Trump

He didn’t refer to the controversial remarks some called racist, but he seems to be alluding do them here:
Trump tells WaPo: I'm going to kick my 2016 campaign into higher gear, cleaning house, no more "publicity seekers"
— Robert Costa (@costareports) August 8, 2015
And he is very defiant about his own “bloody” comments:
Trump tells me he's not apologizing for Kelly controversy. Moving on. Cleaning house. Ignoring party estab. Not coming to ATL.
— Robert Costa (@costareports) August 8, 2015
He is referring to his being disinvited to the Red State Gathering convention this weekend in Atlanta.
So the campaign is going into “high gear”?!?! What on Earth could that possibly mean after the bulldozer he’s been running through American politics??! Whatever it is you can be sure we’ll cover it at the Right Scooooooooop!!
