In a very combative argument on CNN, Mike Smerconish berates Curt Schilling for saying that he got fired from ESPN for being conservative, when Smerconish says it was for insulting transgender people.

Unfortunately, this is the kind of conversation that doesn’t get anyone ahead. Schilling makes disjointed accusations against CNN in response to explain why he got fired, instead of simply answering the question. Smerconish also doesn’t want to admit any bias on the part of ESPN and just wants to prove Schilling is “pompous.” A pox on both their houses…
