Kayleigh McEnany just smoked the media at the end of her White House press conference today. I’ve got it cued up for you:
I watched the entire press conference on Fox News. 75% of all the questions from the press were about Trump’s tweet this morning on the Bubba Wallace ‘hoax’ and the ‘flag decision’ which has contributed to NASCAR’s poor ratings. It was like one big tag team effort to hone in on that one tweet and try and paint Trump as some confederate flag waving racist. Seriously, Kayleigh had to give the same answer nearly 10 times because they kept asking about it over and over.
At the end of her press conference Kayleigh smoked them for it, saying:
“I’m a little dismayed I didn’t receive one question on the deaths in this country this weekend. I didn’t receive one question on New York City shootings doubling for the third straight week and over the last seven days shootings skyrocket by 142%. Not one question. I didn’t receive one question about 5 children who were killed.
I’ll leave you with this remark by a dad – it broke my heart – a dad of an eight-year-old lost in Atlanta this weekend. “They say black lives matter? You killed a child, she didn’t do nothing to nobody” was his quote. We need to be focused on securing our streets, making sure no lives are lost because all black lives matter, that of David Dorn and that of this eight-year-old girl. Thank you.”
Boom! Kayleigh just dropped the mic on their heads! Loved it!
Note that I would have posted the presser earlier but I didn’t realize it was happening until it was too late. But you can watch it from the beginning below if you missed it:
