Retired CIA Agent and Tea Party candidate Gary Bernsten is taking on Chuck Schumer for US Senate and has enough confidence to go around. Bob Schieffer first asks him about running against such a huge deep-pockets type candidate but he responds that he will win because NY is very tired of Chuck Schumer and most only give money to Schumer out of fear.
Schieffer went on to ask about the proposed mosque across from Ground Zero, and thankfully Bernsten says he opposes it for ‘a multitude of reasons’. All around he seems like a great candidate! I’d love to see him and Chucky debate each other.
And I must give Schieffer props for giving him enough time to answer freely. I hope most New Yorkers saw this interview!
