Geraldo: This mosque fiasco is a victory for Al-Qaeda

I’m not a huge fan of Geraldo, nor do I agree with everything he has said regarding Islam and this mosque. But I must say that this is one of his better monologues regarding the attitude in America right now as it stands with this mosque situation at Ground Zero.

The part that did it for me was toward the end when he brought up the fact that it’s been almost 10 years and that we still have nothing to replace the twin towers on Ground Zero. He blames politicians and special interests groups and asks “where is the outrage?” And he’s exactly right.  Beck has brought this up on several occasions in the last year as well. It is an outrage.

He then concludes that this whole fiasco surrounding the mosque has become a victory for Al-Qaeda. I don’t know if I’m ready to agree with that statement. Besides, we know that this is way bigger than Al-Qaeda. This is really about victory for Islam and it will be seen that way around the world if this mega-mosque gets built.
