Talk about dumb things to say. For the record I don’t believe that this pollster is wishing on America such an event as the Oklahoma City Bombing. But I do think it’s sad that he would go down this road at all because it speaks volumes about how detached he believes Obama is to the American people, and why. If Obama with his wit, charm, and great speaking ability hasn’t charmed America by now, then I think there must be other problems that his pollster is completely ignoring, like his POLICIES! We know that he isn’t getting treated in the MSM like Bush did, so that can’t be the reason. And if a tragic event that unites people is the only thing that can save the President, then I say 2012 can’t get her fast enough. Let the voting begin! Either way, I think this pollster’s analysis does say a lot although I think his conclusion is terrible.
And by the way, if a right wing commentator had suggested this, would Matthews have let him get off without even a question about it? I doubt it. In fact it probably would have been fodder for his next documentary: Why the Right wants to kill Americans.
