First watch Sen. John Kyl answer the question of why this bill hasn’t been passed:
He seems to have valid concerns. It is important that we do it right and do it sensibly, and it’s true that the Democrats don’t do much if anything sensibly. But, given the interview below, I would assume that Rudi Giuliani thinks the bill is sensible enough because he is pushing for it to be passed in the Senate when it comes up for a vote. He even declares how fiscally conservative he is in his defense of this bill:
Giuliani says based on what he knows he believes the bill will pass. I believe the vote on this is tomorrow. I guess we’ll find out if he’s right.
