Memo: EPA doled out $100 million to foreign countries over last 10 years

Your taxpayer money hard at work.

According to this House and Energy Committee memo, the EPA has handed out nearly $100 million in aid to foreign governments and organizations over the last 10 years. This includes $210,000 for promoting methane capture and use in China [insert joke here], $100,000 to assess agricultural waste management and disposal in South Korea, and $15,000 for a program called “Breath Easy, Jakarta”, an air-quality management initiative.

Relatively smalls sums for a country $14 trillion in the hole, but that isn’t the point. Why are we spending anything at all on this stuff?
