Levin tells the Republican leadership regarding this debt deal that they need to stand strong because they have all the cards and can force Obama’s hand if they don’t cower. If they fold however, he says we will remove them.
Regarding the deal specifically, he says:
If you do nothing, the debt payments will be made and Obama will have to slash government spending.
He also has advice for Republican freshmen. In short it’s “Don’t blow it”.
