I listened to Peter King defend his statement and honestly he makes great points. What grown man who has admitted to sleeping with young boys has an alarm system to protect his bedroom? When you live a lifestyle like that people are going to define you by that, and Peter King echoed what many American’s believe about MJ, that he was a child molester and a pedophile.
Michael Jackson has been weird for a long time, though he was a iconic entertainment figure. I love his 80’s music and I can only imagine that his concerts were phenomenal. But the whole other side of his life, from the bleaching of his skin and the massive amount of plastic surgery to the sleeping with little boys can’t be forgotten, at least by me. He may have broken entertainment barriers, but I’ll never esteem him as anymore than a great entertainer. And when our news media esteems entertainment figures more than they do the men and women who fight and die for this country, I believe it definitely says something about our culture.
