New York Governor Cuomo apologized during his presser a few minutes ago, claiming he now understands that he made people feel uncomfortable:
Gov. Cuomo responds to the sexual harassment allegations made against him:
"I never touched anyone inappropriately… I certainly never ever meant to offend anyone or hurt anyone… I learned an important lesson." pic.twitter.com/o0nN5gdHg7

He says he never touched anyone inappropriately, but in at least two instances he gave women an unwanted kiss, with one of them being in the workplace. That latter is definitely inappropriate.
Cuomo also used the Biden defense:
CUOMO: "You can go find hundreds of pictures of me kissing people, men, women. It is my usual and customary way of greeting." pic.twitter.com/QZenTw8bVn

Cuomo made clear he’s NOT going to resign:

That’s essentially what happened.
But the real story of this presser is that not a single reporter, most of which posed two questions when they were selected, asked him about the nursing home scandal. No questions about the cover-up or the policy which led to the deaths of thousands of nursing home patients. He has been asked about this before, but I would have expected at least a question or two in this news conference.
After all, this is a much bigger deal and a much bigger scandal than the harassment claims that are plaguing Cuomo right now. We’re talking about people’s lives, and not one single question.
