I really like this ad. It’s short and to the point and gets a powerful message across to people who really need jobs. The only thing I don’t like is that Rick Perry’s first line is “I’ll create 2.5 million new jobs”. I understand that it’s a 30 second soundbite and there’s little room to say much, but to suggest that he will create those jobs feeds this idea that government creates jobs when it really doesn’t.
But given that, it’s still a great ad:
