Today the Republican House passed a bill protecting babies born alive from botched abortions.
All Republicans voted for the bill, and predictably all Democrats except for one opposed it. And one Democrat voted ‘present’.
But the reasons stated by Democrats for opposing the bill to protect these infants were just stupid. I mean, really stupid.

Since when is taking anyone to the hospital endangering someone’s life, especially that of an infant???

This is unreal. To suggest that a baby, struggling for its life, is endangered by a car/ambulance ride to a hospital hours away is preposterous. Is it better for the baby to just sit at home struggling to live? If its just going to sit at home, then why can’t it sit in a vehicle?
These arguments are nothing but made up bullcrap. The real reason why they oppose this bill is because they are pro-baby-murder. That’s it, they just don’t want to say it.
