WATCH: Former CDC Director explains how COVID was engineered in a lab; He also blasts Fauci’s lies as ‘antithetical to science’

The former CDC Director explained this morning why COVID looks like it was engineered in a lab using gain-of-function.

Dr. Robert Redfield, a clinical virologist, was before the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic in a hearing investigating the origins of COVID.

I’m no doctor but it sounds to me like he’s saying that the virus would not be able to bind to humans naturally. But now, suddenly, it has an affinity for binding to humans and he believes gain-of-function research is responsible.

To bolster his argument, he noted that the Wuhan lab published in 2014 that they had made the coronaviruses they were working with bind to the human receptors in humanized mice. He says the only way they could have done this is through gain-of-function research.

Below is another interesting clip where he not only explains this in simpler terms, but also says he was excluded from calls with Fauci and Tedros in early 2020 because he believed the virus looked engineered and that’s not the narrative they wanted to go with:

Redfield said that what Fauci and the others did by manufacturing a narrative that the origin of COVID came naturally from bats to human was “antithetical to science.” He said “science has debate and they squashed any debate.”
