Bolton warns of instability in N. Korea

John Bolton says our chief concern should be to find out what is going on in N. Korea after the death of Kim Jong Il. He believes there’s a real possibility that there could be a succession crisis that could lead to instability N. Korea and even state collapse. He doesn’t think that the newly minted 20-something four star general will have the support of the entire military which could lead to competing factions fighting for power. And as north Koreans head for the exits, he worries that the nuclear weapons could be used against them to bring control back to the country.
