RIP – George ‘Goober’ Lindsey passes away at age 83

Like most of you I’ve spent many an afternoon watching the Andy Griffith show and I’ll never forget one of the main characters, Goober. His lovable character added a lot to the show and he’s definitely become a part of Americana.

Yesterday he passed away at age 83. He will be missed:
