UPDATE: This map is updated by The Gazette fairly often. The red is obviously where the fire is raging. The blue represents mandatory evacuation areas and the yellow pre-evacuation areas. If you look underneath the red close to the city of Colorado Springs in satellite view, you’ll see houses underneath as it is already burning the outskirts of the city. You may need to zoom in a little. It’s just devastating and I believe the forecast for tonight is more strong winds.

The Waldo Canyon Fire is devastating and has already left many destroyed homes in its wake. As of around 10am this morning it had already burned over 15,000+ acres. Colorado Springs Fire Chief is saying it is a historic wildfire of epic proportions and it is heading right for the 2nd largest city in the state, Colorado Springs.
Megyn Kelly had on a resident who runs a Christian ministry group and has had to evacuate all the guests from their camp in Colorado Springs because of this wildfire. Here is the interview:
Most of you probably already know that Michelle Malkin is also one of those who is living out of a hotel now because her family was evacuated a few days ago. They were evacuated so quickly they were unable to take their two pet birds. They have since been evacuated but unfortunately she said the vet reported that one of them died.
Keep Michelle and everyone in your prayers. She is actively updating her website about the fire since she is on the front lines. She has also posted a website if you want to help victims of this epic wildfire: HELP COLORADO NOW
