According to the “Ralph Retort” some dude on Twitter figured out the identity of a rioter at the Berkeley protest against Milo Yinnopowhatevers by using clues from social media.
The “@PaveDarker” account is being credited for the scoop:
Hey @AnaKasparian
I live in Europe
Whole ocean between me and @UCBerkeley
Yet somehow I’m better at YOUR job than you
Let me explain

He’s mocking one of the tools from “the Young Turks” in that tweet.
What he saw is that a certain Twitter account was posting pictures from the protest and appearing to mock Trump supporters:
@AnaKasparian @UCBerkeley
I was asleep while all this was going on. Woke up to it, heard what this guy had done & decided to investigate

And then he just simply google the name of the Twitter account and discovered that a university employee was claiming to be using that social media account!!
A quick search of facebook under his twitter handle leads you hear giving both his location and much more

Smart guy!
@AnaKasparian @UCBerkeley
If you then do a simple google search of his name and the word berkeley you get to this page

On this page you will find this information. Kinda looks like he’s employed by the university to me…

This hasn’t been confirmed, but it seems like a pretty reasonable conclusion. The “@PaveDarker” account also claims that a picture shows a matching neck tattoo with the same guy.
So what will Berkeley do about this? I’m sure this violates their employee agreement somehow, right? Feel free to ask them via social media…
