It’s the Friday after Thanksgiving, and people are buying their Christmas gifts, among other things, as retail’s most hyped sales day is well underway.
Once again this year, classy stores started the marathon on Thanksgiving Day. CNN reports that an estimated one BILLION dollars was spent online on purchases as part of the madness Thursday. That is just online.
But it’s not all champagne and hoverboards. As this day often does, the happiest, Christmas-est, shoppingest day of the year has produced some ridiculous behavior caught on camera.
Are you not entertained? Look upon your madness and despair, shoppers.
Retail sales are expected to top a whopping $83 billion over the course of the weekend, with shoppers spending an average of about four hundred each. God rest ye merry gentlemen .. in this BRAND NEW MASSAGING RECLINER!!!
Municipalities across the country were prepared. Although judging by the videos, not prepared enough. Still, at least we know how to prep for some threats:
"ISIS? No, ma'am, no threat. The National Guard's been called out to retake control from Black Friday shoppers." pic.twitter.com/l9ZWZIRsqQ
