Former Mayor Bloomberg explained today on the campaign trail who he thought won last night’s debate:
DC EXAMINER – President Trump won the Democratic debate in Las Vegas, according to former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
“So how was your night last night?” Bloomberg quipped at a campaign rally on Thursday. “Look, the real winner in the debate last night was Donald Trump.”
“I worry we may well be on the way to nominating somebody who cannot win in November, and if we choose a candidate who appeals to a small base like Sen. Sanders, it will be a fatal error,” he added. “We need Democrats and independents and Republicans to win.”
Wow. I think everyone now agrees that Trump won, except probably Sanders.
You know, it’s really a good line of attack against Sanders and one I’m sure he’ll keep pressing. I just hope at the end of the day, if Sanders wins the nomination, that he’ll decide to run third party and split the Dem vote. That would be amazing.
Trump has already seen this and responded that he agrees!
