Body camera video CLEARS Minneapolis COPS in lethal shooting of Thurman Blevins

Black Lives Matter demonstrators are trying to say cops killed 31-year-old Thurman Blevins Jr. because of racism instead of the fact that he appeared to point a gun at police while running away.

He died weeks ago, and outrage from the family resulted in the police releasing body cam video from the altercation.

Unfortunately for the family, it exonerates the cops:

The police say they were called because a man shot a gun in the air. When they confront Blevins, he immediately takes off. In the video, it looks like he has a gun.

They chase him for a long time and give him commands which he ignores.

Finally, it appears that he’s about to point a weapon at them, so they gun him down.

In the unedited video, you can see what looks like a weapon next to him after the police shoot him.

There’s just no way anyone can claim it was planted or anything.

I feel bad for the family, but Blevins could still be alive if he had only followed police commands.

And yet people are still whining:

That’s false. There’s plenty of cases where police gun down whites with guns. Google em.

So what? He had a gun. Should police believe everything someone tells them or should they act to protect their lives?

He ran away when they arrived. He had a gun. Is it really this difficult?

Minneapolis police said there would be no charges filed against the police officers who shot and killed Blevins. And that’s the right call.
