BREAKING: Update – One officer killed, 2 others dead in Colorado shooting; killer apprehended

UPDATE: 9:12PM EST: Unfortunately the police are now saying how many died as a result of the shooting. They had been very quiet about these details up until now.

UPDATE 6:58PM EST: The suspect has been apprehended alive!! There were reports of suspicious packages he brought with him, nothing on that yet.

BREAKING RIGHT NOW 4:26pm:

Original story and updates: Police are on scene in Colorado Springs in a reported active shooter situation at or near a Planned Parenthood clinic. My source through Truth Revolt tells me that two officers have been injured, probably shot, and have been taken from the scene to nearby hospitals. Police are still securing the area and are rushing in vehicles.

This particular Planned Parenthood location has not experienced any prior violent incidents according to local sources. We will update as information becomes available. UPDATE:

UPDATE: Police responded to the first call from Planned Parenthood clinic, but at this time do not believe the shooting is related to the clinic.

UPDATE: Activity is chaotic on scene. SWAT vehicles have been in and out of the shopping ceter, multiple ambulances have departed the scene with victims.

UPDATE: Amazing. MSNBC anchor reads Planned Parenthood tweet live on air to eyewitness who was in one of the stores. Witness tells MSNBC host: all the shooting came from Chase Bank. The subject of location was immediately dropped by the anchor.

UPDATE: CNN is reporting on air that police sources tell them the shooter was in fact inside the Planned Parenthood. Eyewitness caller to MSNBC claims the shooting was at Chase Bank.
