Here’s more from NBC New York:
A jury convicted lawyer Michael Avenatti on all counts in his Nike extortion trial.
Prosecutors maintained Avenatti — the lawyer who gained fame representing porn star Stormy Daniels in lawsuits against President Donald Trump — threatened to use his fame to stage a news conference and deliver claims that Nike executives were corrupting college basketball by funding payments to elite young players and their families, unless he was paid millions of dollars to conduct the internal probe.
At the time, prosecutors say, Avenatti faced at least $11 million in debts. His former law firm office manager testified that finances were so desperate last March that his several employees had been evicted from their $50,000-a-month offices and were working from their homes.
Remember when Avenatti said he’d be fully exonerated?
I am extremely pleased that the two counts alleging I engaged in a conspiracy against Nike have just been dismissed by Trump’s DOJ. I will be fully exonerated when it is all said and done. This case should have never let been filed.

LOL! Avenatti is maybe the biggest liar on the planet, and that’s saying something after what we saw with the Kavanaugh fiasco. I’m glad he’s finally getting what’s coming to him.
