Reuters is reporting that four US soldiers were killed and three others wounded in the city of Manbij, Syria, where the US has a coalition base set up in northern Syria:
There were reportedly 16 in total that were killed in the bombing.
According to Reuters…
Two witnesses described Wednesday’s blast to Reuters. “An explosion hit near a restaurant, targeting the Americans, and there were some forces for the Manbij Military Council with them,” one said.
ISIS is claiming responsibility in the attack, saying on their website that a suicide attacker used an explosive vest to attack a foreign military patrol, according to Reuters.
