BREAKING: Manafort will COOPERATE with Mueller in plea deal…

As part of Manafort’s plea hearing today it’s been revealed that he will indeed cooperate with Mueller, whatever that means:

Here’s more from the AP:

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort has cut a “cooperation agreement” with prosecutors and intends to plead guilty to charges related to his Ukrainian consulting work.

The deal allows Manafort to avoid a second trial that had been scheduled to start next week in Washington.

Prosecutor Andrew Weissman said in court Friday that Manafort had struck a “cooperation agreement.” He did not elaborate on the agreement.

Manafort told the judge he wants to plead guilty.

Manafort’s second trial would have been related to Ukrainian political consulting work, including failing to register as a foreign agent.

According to NBC News, Manafort will also have to give up some of his properties as part of the plea deal:

Upon entering his guilty plea, Manafort will forfeit three properties in New York — his home in the Hamptons, a property in Manhattan on Howard Street, and a property in Brooklyn — as well as a property on Edgewood Street in Arlington, Virginia, according to the filing.

In addition, Manafort will forfeit all funds contained in four bank accounts, as well as a life insurance policy.

Nobody knows what this cooperation means, but I’m sure the media will gladly speculate on how bad this will be for Trump or something.

Stay tuned…
