Trump just announced his replacement for DNI Chief Dan Coats, an hour or so after the woman Rod Rosenstein and Adam Schiff recommended for the position announced her resignation from the department:

….career in the military, retiring from the U.S. Navy in 2010. He commanded at every level, including the Naval Special Warfare Command. He has also served as a National Security Fellow at Harvard University. I have no doubt he will do a great job!

Whether Maguire will become Trump’s actual appointee for the DNI position remains to be seen.
