Trump has just officially responded to Pelosi cancelling the State of the Union address, calling it a great blotch on the country and arguing that she doesn’t want to hear the truth.

Trump didn’t give any indication that he’s planning on doing the SOTU address elsewhere. I know Sarah Sanders discussed having a backup plan this morning, but we’ll see if they decide to implement that.
For now, it looks like the SOTU is off until after the government shutdown. And I guarantee you Pelosi will not be criticized much for doing this in the media, even after she extended the invitation during the government shutdown.
UPDATE: I do see a headline on CNN suggesting that Trump is looking for another venue to hold the SOTU. So we’ll see how that works out.
