The other officer is out of surgery and looks like he’ll survive. Neither of their names have been released at this time.

The San Diego Police Department confirmed on Thursday night that two officers had been shot in the Southcrest area.
According to the department, the condition of the officers is unknown at this time. In a tweet late Thursday night, the department asked the public to keep the officers in their prayers.
The two officers have been transported to hospitals.
