This should remind all of you of Obamacare. Unions supported it and then begged for exemptions, to which Obama accommodated them. Now the same thing is happening in Los Angeles, where unions not only supported the $15/hr minimum wage hike, but provided many of the protesters arguing for it. But in the eleventh hour they tried to backdoor an exemption for themselves, which didn’t go over well at all.
