People are understandably confused by a tweet by Hillary’s kid, Chelsea, in which she reveals she spent a year inside former Sheriff Arpaio’s jails.
The year I spent in Joe Arpaio’s tent jail was hell. He should never walk free. https://t.co/KT09Monasj

UHm… Gap year?
Actually, she intended to tweet the title, not that she herself had spent a year in Arpaio’s tent jail.
I shared directly from @washingtonpost site. Not sure why it being an op-ed wasn't clear. Thank you for pointing out.

Quotes!! How do they work?!?!
Did you spend a yr in Arpaio's jail BEFORE or AFTER you & your mommy dodged bullets in Bosnia?
I'd prefer reply in alphabetical paragraphs https://t.co/vEMP3tzSdJ

Maybe bc you don't say it's an Op-Ed in the tweet and there are no quotations around the headline. It makes it seem like you're saying it. https://t.co/mAQSRXis55

However, I am a little dismayed at how conservatives are cheering at Arpaio’s pardon. If you look into his history you’ll find a long list of abuses, even if you dismiss the allegations of racial profiling. This is not the kind of guy we want to cheer on. We can be against illegal immigration without resorting to endorsing every scumbag that appears to be on our side…
