In a fit of abject stupidity, Chris Matthews used a very very bad phrase when trying to express how bad Trump is for colluding (not illegal!) with the Russians.
Check out what he said in the video below:
Yeah, he said “string him up.” And even the people on the left are like “WTF Chris?”
WTH! Did @HardballChris just say on @hardball that if AA @POTUS44 had did what this 5X #DraftDodger has done; the GOP Congress would have strung him up? pic.twitter.com/IqfbqD8rq9

Seriously, Chris Matthews @hardball ?? You just used the expression “strung him up”, when referring to President Obama and what the Republicans would do to him if he exhibited Trump’s corrupt etc. behavior. Are you kidding me??? Do better!!!!!

"Strung him up" @HardballChris C'mon man be a little more circumspect. You don't use that phrase in ref to a black man under any circumstance #hardball #MSNBC

Ridiculous. In the video he tried to walk it back, probably after he realized what he said wasn’t terribly politically correct. This is what it looks like when leg tingles sour.
