Colorado Democrat tells rape victim that a gun wouldn’t have helped her

Colorado State Democrat Evie Hudak decided to go on a hypothetical journey and refute a rape victim’s testimony, telling her that because she was overpowered by her attacker, such that she couldn’t defend herself with her martial arts skills, the attacker would have likely taken her gun from her if she had one. The rape victim in this case, Amanda Collins, is one whose story you are already familiar with as she has become an advocate since her raped back in 2007.

Collins said in response that she is absolutely sure that if she had a concealed weapon, she would have been able to defend herself because she was there and she knows exactly what happened.

Watch (h/t: Fox Nation):

Honestly, I’m glad this Colorado Democrat spoke up and revealed what she was really thinking. It simply exposes how far she will go to rationalize her ideology, trying to use statistics and hypothetical situations instead of the reality that stares her in the face.
