You know that if a Republican said what DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz just accused Republican Scott Walker of doing, she’d drag the whole media after that Republican for belittling true domestic abuse, calling it part of Republican’s ‘war on women’.
But it’s DWS who said it this time, and she meant it:
“Scott Walker has given women the back of his hand. I know that is stark. I know that is direct. But that is reality.
What Republican tea party extremists like Scott Walker are doing is they are grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back. It is not going to happen on our watch.”
If this were a Republican who said this, talking heads all over the media would be firing off at how reprehensible it was for a Republican to say such a thing. But I guarantee you this will be played off by talking heads if they even get asked about it, since it’s the DNC Chair.
