Donald Trump responded to Ted Cruz’s ad today hammering him over his use of eminent domain to take an elderly woman’s home and make it into a limo parking lot for his Casino. Of course, Trump doubles down with a stupid argument:

So because eminent domain exists, we should just ignore and sanction the misuse of it? How absurd! Trump didn’t use eminent domain for the public good. No, he colluded with the state and used it for his own personal gain. That’s the very definition of crony capitalism.
But hey, I guess Donald Trump thinks eminent domain is a winning issue just like bragging two weeks before the Iowa caucuses that the Republican establishment is supporting him.
