Erdogan has recalled his Turkish ambassadors from both DC and Tel-Aviv after the US moved it’s embassy to Jerusalem today. He’s also accusing Israel of genocide or something:

Erdogan says that what Israel is doing to Palestinians is a “genocide.”

If Israel wanted to commit genocide against Palestinians, they wouldn’t just kill 43 of them. I mean c’mon. Israel is defending itself from these jihadi Palestinians who are trying to break through the border:

Regarding the US moving our embassy to Jerusalem, it surprises me in the least that Erdogan wants to further isolate Turkey from the West by recalling his ambassadors. Erdogan motives are clear:

Erdogan wants to use this issue to unite the Muslim world behind him, so that one day when he finally announces that he’s Caliph, many will fall in line behind him.
To put it a different way, Erdogan is manufacturing a crisis and he’s most certainly not going to let it go to waste.
