First Arizona Senate Republican Primary Poll has Jeff Flake DEEP UNDER WATER

Jeff Flake is already well under water in a new poll out by JMC of the Arizona Senate Republican Primary that was conducted August 26-27.

This is also the first poll that I can see published over at RCP of this race, so take that into consideration.

According to the poll, if the election were held today:

Kellie Ward – 47%
Jeff Flake – 21%
Tutora – 3%

If this poll is accurate, Flake has a huge uphill battle. However, if Arpaio jumps in and splits the vote with Ward, then Flake would have an easier road to victory.

Another question that I thought was revealing in this poll was this one:

Do you approve or disapprove of the job performance of President Donald Trump?

Approve 76%
Disapprove 21%
No Opinion 3%

So Arizona still loves Trump, which looks like spells bad news for Flake.

Here’s the lowdown on this poll: 500 Likely Republican Voters (meaning they were registered to vote) with a margin of error of +/- 4.4%.
