Former NFL player with coronavirus tells CNN hydroxychloroquine worked great for him

A former NFL player named Mark Campbell, who had contracted coronavirus, told CNN today that hydroxychloroquine worked great for him:

Campbell was having breathing difficulties when he checked into the hospital for five days. He told CNN’s John King that he was fortunate they put him on some meds and said “the HCQ worked GREAT for me – I will be honest with you there.”

It’s interesting that he felt the need to qualify his statement to CNN with “I will be honest with you there”. It’s as if he knew that they were not fans of the drug or Trump’s advocacy of the drug.

He didn’t elaborate more than that, other than to say he was released from the hospital and is back home in quarantine.
