Nearly 40 people were injured Saturday after bomb blasts in New York and New Jersey and an ISIS-backed stabbing rampage in Minnesota, separate incidents that have cemented fears the United States is still a prime terror target.
Authorities were still trying to determine if there was any connection between the incidents, particularly the New York and New Jersey explosions that happened just hours apart.
A law enforcement source told Fox News on Sunday that the explosive devices found in Seaside Park, NJ, and New York City are believed to be from the same person.
Officials however haven’t still publically established a common link, New York City Police Commissioner James P. O’Neill said.
“I am concerned,” O’Neill said during a news conference. “We have a bomb that detonated and no one apprehended.”
Many of us you were probably already thinking this, as it just seems too coincidental to have explosions in both NY and NJ on the same day.
We’ll certainly keep you updated with more as more develops on this…
