FRANCE at WAR: Unbelievable videos of the violent ‘State of Insurrection’

Paris in tearing itself apart. And why? Taxes of course. It’s France. Tearing themselves apart over taxes is practically a birthright. It’s really bad this week, as fires, looting, and outright street brawling engulfed the center of the city of lights.

“We are in a state of insurrection, I’ve never seen anything like it,” said Jeanne d’Hauteserre, mayor of the 8th arrondissement, near the Arc de Triomphe.

President Macron’s approval rating is in the toilet and his city is on fire, and it’s because of the government taking money from the pockets of the people. Look at these videos, then we’ll talk some more.

This one is bodycam footage from a Paris cop:

These “yellow jacket” protests have gone on for 9 days in protest of President Emmanuel Macron’s tax increases. It started spontaneously, as we reported before, after a new tax would increase the cost of fuel in the country… that’s how big government sticks it to the little guys, the middle and lower classes. A sort of end run around redistribution to help the working stiffs pay for the government largesse they think the rich people pay for.

Over 10,000 people protested in Paris, over 136,000 estimated around the country this past weekend. The weekend before that, the number was estimated at nearly a quarter million. After an emergency meeting, Macron is having his ministers meet with the protest groups.

Almost 400 people were arrested over the weekend, as cop cars were set ablaze, monuments were vandalized, and the wildly unpopular Macron condemned the protests, tweeting “Shame to those who voluntarily assaulted citizens and reporters. Shame on those who tried to intimidate our elected.”

We’ll see how that works out for him.
