A German author took a journey inside the Islamic State and the BBC reports on what he saw:
A German author given unprecedented access to territory controlled by the so-called Islamic State, has told the BBC that IS is stronger, more brutal and harder to confront than he’d expected. Jürgen Todenhöfer spent 10 days in Mosul and Raqqa.
I think the most ominous statement made by the BBC narrator/reporter was this one referring to Mosul:
“The city’s been emptied of Christians and Shia Muslims who fled in terror”
And we should never forget the brutality that led to them fleeing in terror.
