An Iowa pastor was just diagnosed with Esophageal cancer in January and has already racked up $50k in bills. So he and his wife signed up with Obamacare only to find out the premiums would be over $800 per month with a deductible of $7000. In tears, he said they simply can’t afford those prices, saying the Affordable Care Act was anything but affordable. They’ve signed up anyway for now, and will have to try and raise the money for their deductible.
