A sitting member of Congress suggesting to the media that they shouldn’t give equal time to the Tea Party because of their stance in this debt limit fight is infuriating. He knows that the Tea Party members of Congress were willing to raise the debt ceiling all along. They just wanted responsible fiscal policies included in the deal. But Kerry is a liar, a propagandist, and would never reveal the truth because it would undercut his real goal which is to demonize the Tea Party as irresponsible in an effort to push them into ‘fringe’ status. In other words, he wants to silence dissent. And for him to say this before a national TV audience is quite revealing of where this country currently stands.
